Salomon Brothers has appointed Miranda Xafa as vice president in the economic and market analysis department in London. She will be responsible for coverage of economic and financial trends in Eastern and south-eastern Europe including Greece and Turkey, with particular emphasis on the outlook for the region’s currency and asset markets.
